Chris and Sunny of Wairarapa Eggs purchased a farm off her parents when Chris was 26, 8 years ago. About 5 years ago they closed the Masterton based farm down and built a purpose built free range farm on Chester Road in East Taratahi.
Chis is a baker by trade and trained under Mike and John Kloeg at Ten O’Clock Cookie. While he enjoyed the work unfortunately there was no way forward in the business with the top spots taken by the father/ son team so when the opportunity came up to purchase the farm- Chris jumped at it!
He describes his business, Wairarapa Eggs, as Quality, Local and Family Focused.
