Feija van Bokhoven has owned Experienz Immigration Services since 2013. She always wanted to start her own business, but never really knew what she should do.
They moved to New Zealand in 2010 and used an Immigration Adviser when they did- he was brilliant and without him, she doesn’t think they would be here. After that experience, Feija started to think what an interesting field it was and believed she would be good at it too. At the time, the industry was recently regulated and you needed a license to practice. The only way to get a license was by getting experience in an existing firm. That was not what she wanted, so the plan went to the backburner.
In 2012 she saw an advertisement for a course in Immigration Advice. The regulatory rules had changed and it was now possible to join the industry by completing the course. Feija jumped at that opportunity and was part of the second group of students to complete the course. She graduated in June 2013 and her business was up and running in September 2013.
She wishes that more people knew Experienz Immigration Services existed and that good quality visa advice doesn’t have to cost the earth- there are services on offer for all budgets. She describes Experienz Immigration Services in 3 words as; People, life changing and trust.
