Carterton Craft Market
The local craft market is held on Saturdays from 10am to 2pm in the Arcade next door to Tarragon Cafe and The Auction House. Selling beautiful hand knitted, crocheted and sewn items. Plus every occasion cards, cushions, jams, sauces, spreads, jewellery, glass art to name a few.
Orders for a number of the items taken as most items are made by the stall holders. As stock changes frequently visit often. New crafters welcome.
Carterton Community Market
The local community market is located at the Baptist Church Hall, Belvedere Road, open every Saturday from 9am to 12:30pm. Head 250m north-west from the roundabout at the centre of town. The market is on the left.
Carterton Farmers' Market
The Farmers' Market, set up in February 2015, was put together with the aim of providing a venue for local producers to sell their wares to local people. With a home-grown produce co-operative, olive oils, handcrafts, handmade soaps, potions and more, the market offers visitors a great range of shopping options. Visit www.cartertonmarket.co.nz
